About Marsh Creative
Marsh Creative was founded in 2004 by Semaj Marsh, an accomplished communications and marketing professional who had enjoyed successful stints in both the professional sports industry and the non-profit sector.
In addition to serving for more than seven years as an top front end web developer and graphic designer, Marsh previously served as the Communications Director for National AMBUCS, Inc., a non-profit service organization based in High Point, NC that is dedicated to help individuals with disabilities. In this role he oversaw the production of all of our publications and marketing materials, including our quarterly magazine, our annual product catalog, and all of our brochures and signage. He was also responsible for designing and editing the organization's monthly membership newsletter and quarterly product newsletter.
Prior to joining the AMBUCS organization, Marsh worked in the professional sports industry as the Media Relations Coordinator for both the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and its sister organization, the Houston Comets of the WNBA.
As you can imagine, this was an extremely high-profile environment that was both fast-paced and demanding. It required a public relations professional who was creative, detailed-oriented, and able to mesh well with diverse personalities.
Some of his duties in Houston included editing and providing content for preseason media guides and team yearbooks, as well as helping our organization establish new radio partnerships with several local FM radio stations and spearheading various off-the-court publicity campaigns for the players.
Marsh also has an extensive background in print journalism and has had numerous articles published in some of the top daily and weekly newspapers in North Carolina.
